A scheduled departure to the town of Maras. Very close to the town lies one of the oldest salt mines in the continent, which was supplied salt to the Inca empire. The tour continues towards the village of Moray, famous for its various platforms and deep micro-climates. It is believed that this place was a center of exploration and scientific research for agricultural purposes.

Day 8: Machu Picchu / Cusco

Day 9: Puno / Lake Titicaca (only Monday, Wednesday y Sábados)
Transfer to train station to board the Andean Explorer train to Puno
The Andean Explorer is exquisitely decorated in a subtle and delicate style of the great Pullman trains of the twenties and has a fleet of cars completely renovated, including dining cars and a car-bar outdoor observatory. During the journey passengers can enjoy a lunch that consists of entry, and dessert plate fund-dining in the car, followed by coffee served in the bar car observatory. During the ten-hour train journey, not only the landscape changes from rolling hills and plains, the weather also changes.
