Day 1: Arequipa City Tour
Meet in Arequipa and transfer to hotel. At 2pm we will start the visit. The tour includes a visit to Puente Grau (designed by Eiffel), the Church and Mirador del Barrio from colonial Yanahuara where we can view most of the city. It also visits La Cathedral, the Plaza de Armas, the Zona Colonial Church and Cloisters of the Society of Jesus, the Citadel and the famous Monastery of Santa Catalina built in the sixteenth century and open to the public since 1970 after 400 years.

Day 2: Arequipa – Colca Canyon
Breakfast at the hotel.
8am - Departure to the Colca Valley, behind the snowy Chachani, passing through the Cañahuas pampa and the national reserve of Aguada Blanca where hopefully we can observe wild vicuña. Along the route with a few stops in El Mirador de los Volcanes located at an altitude of 4800m. View of the mountains, Ampato, and Hualca Sabancaya Hualca. Mirador del Valle Del Colca,
12:30pm – Arrive to Chivay and transfer to hotel, time for lunch.
Overnight in Colca.

Day 3: Colca Canyon - Arequipa
Breakfast at the hotel.
6:30am - Departure on the left bank of the Colca river to the Mirador de La Cruz del Condor. At this point the depth of the canyon reaches approx 1200m. If we are lucky we may witness the majestic flight of the Condor, and then continue the journey to the community of Cabanaconde, Yanque and Maca. During the trip we will see the famous stone model, the pre-Inca tombs pendants, and the incredible amount of pre-inca traditions still cultivating Andean products like potato, corn, quinoa, kiwicha, olluco etc. We stop for lunch and in the afternoon return to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5pm

Breakfast in hotel if time permits. Transfer to airport for flight to your next destination. (B)
