Navimag will take you through almost the whole of Patagonia. Sailing in between fjords and channels you will be amazed at the Amalia Glacier, the beauty of the virgin southern forests, the magic town of Puerto Eden and the incredible diversity of birds and marine wildlife, which will approach and be visible to the boat along its journey.
DETAILS: 3 DAYS OF SAILING
Boarding every Thursday at Puerto Natales (passengers must check in before 21:00 hours and board that same night. The boat departs very early on Friday)
FRIDAY: Departure from Puerto Natales at approximately 06:30 hours. Following a few hours of sailing, the ferry will enter Angostura White and cross the narrow Kirke Pass; passengers will be able to witness the spectacular manoeuvre. In the afternoon the ship will head towards the magnificent Amalia Glacier (High season only) where passengers will be able to contemplate hundreds of millenary icebergs flowing from Campo de Hielo Sur.
SATURDAY: At some point in Wellington Island the ship will arrive at Puerto Eden. Passengers can disembark for around two hours and walk through the wooden walkways of this car and road free town. When the journey resumes the ship will continue to travel the beautiful southern channels. Following the passing of Angostura Inglesa the watercraft will begin crossing Golfo de Penas.
SUNDAY: After several hours of open sea sailing the ship will return to calmer waters and will venture into the Chonos archipelago channels, cross the Concovado Gulf and finally enter the Chiloe Sea. The ship will dock at its destination port in Puerto Montt during the evening, where the journey will end.
MONDAY: Breakfast aboard the ship, followed by the disembarking of passengers. It is possible to catch a bus from Puerto Montt to Bariloche, Chiloe Island or any point in the Los Lagos Region.
