DAY 1: LA SERENA
Arrival and transfer to hotel of your choice from airport or bus terminal. Evening visit to Mamalluca or Collowara Observatory to enjoy an Astronomic Tour. Upon arrival a brief astronomic seminar will be held in the movie room, and then visitors will engage in star and constellation observation through three mechanic roof telescopes. Deep sky observations will also be held using the electronic telescope located on the observatory dome. Return to hotel.

DAY 2: LA SERENA
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour through La Serena and Coquimbo. Visits to La Serena Archaeological Museum, La Recova, Plaza de Armas La Serena, Monumental Lighthouse, Avenida del Mar, Coquimbo Port, English Suburb and the Third Millennium Cross. Return to hotel.

DAY 3: LA SERENA
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Valle de Elqui, where visitors will enjoy the welcoming climate ideal for papaya growing and Chilean pisco (grape brandy). Visits to a papaya production plant, exquisite local fruit; Puclaro Dam, Ciudad de Vicuña, birthplace of poet Gabriela Mistral; and the Gabriela Mistral museum in Montegrande. Here we will visit a Pisco manufacturer and the town of Pisco Elqui, its plaza and the Craftsman’s town. Return to hotel at approximately 19:00 hours.

DAY 4: LA SERENA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport or bus terminal at prearranged time.
