A wonderfull 10 day experience visiting one of the most beautifull cities in the world Rio de Janeiro, the colonial city of Paraty and the tropical island Ilha Grande.


Day 1 Rio de Janeiro

Arrival at the International airport of Rio de Janeiro, where our English speaking guide (with name board) will welcome you. During the transfer to the hotel at the Copacabana beach he will introduce you to this marvellous city. Transfer to Hotel Atlantico Copacabana***, check-in and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Hotel Atlantico Copacabana.

Day 2 Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel at 09.00AM for a half day visit to the Corcovado Mountain. beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: Christ the Redeemer statue in the mountain of Corcovado, located at 710 meters above the sea level and inaugurated in 1931. This tour begins in Cosme Velhos neighborhood from where the cog train starts a trip through the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, up to the statue. Once there, a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio will be seeing including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon. After the visit of the Corcovado, the tour will continue to São Conrado area with a brief stop at the Pepino beach. Around noon your guide will drop you off at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Hotel Atlantico Copacabana. (B)


Day 3 Rio de Janeiro

Day at leisure in Rio de Janeiro. Enjoy all that Rio has to offer. Overnight in Hotel Atlantico Copacabana.

Day 4 Rio de Janeiro - Angra dos Reis - Ilha Grande

After breakfast you will be picked up at your hotel for a
2,5 hour transfer along the beautiful "Green Coast" to Angra dos Reis. After arrival in Angra dos Reis you will take the ferry to Ilha Grande. Arrival on Ilha Grande, where assistance is waiting for you. Transfer to Pousada Ancoradouro***. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Pousada Ancoradouro. (B)


Day 5 Ilha Grande

You leave in the morning with your local guide to reach the beach of Lopes Mendes. To get there you cross rainforest, up easy slopes that allow you great views of the tiny bays on the island. It is not rare to come across animals (birds, monkeys). On the other side of the mountain and after a walk of about 2-3 hours across several peaceful beaches , you reach the beach of Lopes Mendes, a long wild beach of white sand bordered by coconut palms. Retuen at the end of the afternoon to Abraão. Overnight in Pousada Ancoradouro. (B)


Day 6 Ilha Grande

Day at leisure at the beach or optional excursions, like a schooner-tour or ecological hikes. Overnight in Pousada Ancoradouro. (B)


Day 7 Ilha Grande - Angra dos Reis – Parati

After breakfast pick up at the pousada and transfer to the harbour, in time for the ferry to Angra dos Reis. Arrival in Angra dos Reis and transfer to the colonial town of Parati. After arrival check-in at Pousada do Principe***. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Pousada do Principe. (B)


Day 8 Parati

After breakfast we will enjoy a wonderfull schooner ride. The schooner sails to several of the most beautiful beaches and islands in the bay of Paraty, all surrounded by dense rainforest. After sailing for about fourty minutes the schooner makes three stops of around one hour each for sunbathing, swimming, and snorkeling.

Although the exact locations tend to vary with each tour, depending on weather conditions and popularity (so we can avoid the crowds), the islands included are: Comprida, Algodão, Cotia, Praia Vermelha and also the beaches of Lulas, Saco da Velha among many others. 
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Pousada do Principe. (B)


Day 9 Parati

Day at leisure in Parati. Time to make an optional excursion or to enjoy the facilities of your pousada. Overnight in Pousada do Principe. (B)


Day 10 Parati - Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast transfer to the airport of Rio de Janeiro (4 hours), in time for your domestic or international flight out. (B)
