Day 1 Arrival Rio de Janeiro
After arrival at the International Airport of Rio de Janeiro, our English speaking guide will welcome you (with name-board). He introduces you to the marvellous city and accompany you during the 45-minutes transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast the guide will pick you up at the hotel at 09.00 AM for a Half day tour to the post-card of Rio de Janeiro, the 38 meter high statue of Christ the Redeemer, which was completed on 12 October 1931 on top of the Corcovado mountain (710 m. high) taking the cog train through the rainforest. To reach the top of Corcovado Hill, the train crosses the largest urban forest of the planet. The Tijuca Forest is located at the heart of Rio de Janeiro and it separates the South and North zones of the city. During the 20-minutes train-ride up the mountain, enjoy the lush scenery of the Tijuca Forest and beautifull views of the city way below. Return at the end of the morning via a panoramic road. Overnight in your hotel. (B)
Day 3 Rio de Janeiro
Day at leisure. Enjoy the beaches, discover the city using the excellent subway connections or make an optional excursion (see section Rio de Janeiro). Overnight in your hotel. (B)
Day 4 Rio de Janeiro – Foz do Iguassu
After an early breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel for the private transfer to the airport of Rio de Janeiro in time for your domestic flight to Foz do Iguassu.
After arrival at the International Airport of Foz do Iguassu, our English speaking guide (with name-board) will welcome you, assist you with your luggage, followed by transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5 - Foz do Iguassu
After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel for a Half Day tour to the Brazilian side of the magnificient Iguassu Falls. Following the walkways that border the canyon of the Iguassu River, it is possible to observe hundreds of small waterfalls until where the last fall Floriano Falls is reached. There you will have a complete frontal view of Devils Throat. In the afternoon a visit to the Argentinean side of the falls, getting in Argentina through the Tancredo Neves bridge, built on the Iguassu River. Trails through the 55.500 hectares reserve (30 km far from the Hotel) provide the pleasure of a different, more complete view of the falls, specially the biggest one, the Devils Throat. Lower and upper walkways permit a closer look at the waterfalls. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon, the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in your hotel. (B)
Day 6 - Foz do Iguassu
Day at leisure or optional excursions. (B)
Day 7 - Foz do Iguassu
Depending the departure time of your flight, time at leisure or optionale excursions. One hour before your flight your guide will drop you off at the airport of Foz do Iguassu in time for your domestic flight. (B)

What to bring:

Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from June to September.
