Be transformed back in time on this wonderful itinerary including the
second largest festival in South America, Inti Raymi. Hundreds of thousands of people converge on Cusco from other parts of the nation, South America and the world for a week long celebration marking the beginning of a new year, the Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun.
The ceremony of Inti Raymi ends with a procession back to Cusco. Sapa Inca and Mama Occla are carried on their thrones, the high priests and representatives of the Supas pronounce blessings on the people. Once again, a new year has begun.
After Inti Raymi you will travel to other important Incan areas in South America and discover the legend of this mysterious land including Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. This is a once in a lifetime trip not to be missed.

Colonial & Modern Lima City Tour
Visit both the colonial and modern sections of this "City of Kings". Colonial sites include the lovely Plaza de Armas
with its cathedral and palace; and the exquisite Torre Tagle Palace, modern day seat of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs. In modern Lima drive through the exclusive residential areas of Miraflores and San Isidro.
Cusco City & Ruins Tour
This tour of the oldest continuously inhabited city in the western hemisphere includes important landmarks of
enchanting Cusco and also the nearby ruins of Kenko, Puca-pucara, Tambomachay as well as the Sacsayhuaman
fortress. Once the center of the Inca civilization, modern Cusco is a delightful combination of Inca and colonial
architecture. During the tour, you will visit Cusco's Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church and the Plaza de Armas.
Vistadome Train to Machu Picchu & Guided Tour
The time varies for collection from hotel depending on the pickup schedule, but usually between 5:30 and 5:45 am.
The train from Cusco takes approx 3 hrs. Arrive to Aguas Calientes, approx. 10:20 hrs, take the bus to Machu
Picchu (1/2 hr), they meet the guide have prívate tour of Machu Picchu. Lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge isa round
130pm. A transfer to Aguas Callientes is after lunch.
Andean Express Train Cusco to Puno
The Andean Explorer runs on the route between Lake Titicaca (Puno) and Cusco uniting two of Peru’s top tourist
destinations. Exquisitely decorated in the manner of the great Pullman trains of the 1920’s, the Andean Explorer
boasts a full fleet of refurbished coaches. An open-air observation bar car adds to the enjoyment along this beautiful
route, and provides the opportunity for magnificent photographs of the scenery. On the journey passengers are
served a three course lunch in their dining car, followed by coffee served in the observation-bar car.
Lake Titicaca Tour
This excursion will take you to the highest navigable lake in the world, to visit the floating islands of the Uros Indians,
considered themselves Lords of the Lake, and they were convinced they had black blood because they did not feel
the cold of the lake and the winter. Continuing to Taquile where a native community of about 400 families still lives
with the traditions of the XIV century that respect the principals of an Incan way life. Taquile is a very important site
on Lake Titikaka for its archeological remains, the sacred and ceremonial sites, the festive activities, their rituals and
for the daily life of the inhabitants which is dedicated to farming, textile production and fishing.
Inca Trail Explorer Puno to La Paz Tour
Departing from the Puno hotel, a transfer to Copacabana. In Copacabana visit the Shrine and the Indian Virgin who
brought peace among the tribes of Lake Titicaca. Also visit the local handicraft market. Board a hydrofoil and start
your cruise to the Moon Island. Visit the Sun Virgins temple, where the most beautiful virgins of the Incas were
conserving a sacred fire dedicated to their Gods. This temple is considered to be one of the most important ruins on
the Lake. Continue to Sun Island. Visit the Inca Stairways and the Sacred Fountain believed to give eternal youth and
happiness. Lunch at the archaeological and panoramic Uma Kollo restaurant which interior wall is a "Takana",
authentic Inca scenery of the breathtaking view of Sacred Lake Titicaca and the Andes. After lunch continue by
motor boat or hydrofoil to Copacabana. Continue by bus to La Paz. On route stop at Huatajata to visit the Andean
Roots -EcoVillage: At the handicrafts and folkloric area, meet the Limachi family, builders of the RA II and TIGRIS for
Thor Heyerdhal epic expeditions; see a full size reproduction of RA II and the famous ABORA II which has time had
one of the Limachi family on board. Admire the mud igloos of the Chipayas Pamper our llama, alpacas and shy
vicuñas. Visit the "AltiplanoMuseum" where a state of the art audio equipment presents in your own language our
past legacy as well as the colonial and modern times. Continue to La Paz. Drop off at your hotel.
La Paz City & Valley of the Moon Tour
Visiting Plaza Murillo (main plaza), Parliament, Government Building, Cathedral, Valley of the Moon, Residential
districts of Mirador Killi Killi and Witches Markets. Then travel to Valley of the Moon to its fantastic gardens!
Tiwanaku Ruins Tour
Tiwanaku, the most important ruins of civilization in pre-Colombian South America. Upon arrival, visit the museum
where you can see the monolith Benett. You will also visit the Temple of Kalasasaya, Pyramid Akapana, the semisubterranean
temple and the Puerta del Sol.
